Monthly E‑News - June Edition
As we step into June, winter officially settles in and brings with it a whole new rhythm. It’s the time of year when the couch suddenly becomes more inviting, the kettle works overtime, and indoor activities start to feel like the natural choice.
For many of us, winter means:
- swapping beach days for blankets and warm socks
- choosing movies over outings
- enjoying the comfort of slow‑cooked meals
- cheering on our favourite teams during footy season!
Whether you’re a die‑hard supporter braving the cold at the oval or someone who prefers to stay snug indoors with a good film, winter has something for everyone.
And of course… It’s officially comfort‑food season. Bring out the soups, the tuna mornay, the lamb shanks, the casseroles, and all the hearty dishes that make the house smell like home. Winter is the perfect excuse to enjoy warm meals that nourish the body and the soul. Get your support worker to create a casserole for you !
This edition of our newsletter is all about getting prepared for the months ahead – staying warm, staying connected, and staying well. Winter can be a beautiful season when we lean into the things that make it cosy, comforting, and meaningful.
