VIVA Mutual, a leading South Australian not-for-profit provider registered with NDIS and My Aged Care, proudly celebrates the announcement of the federal government’s $35 million in federal funding awarded to the Care Economy Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) through Round 25 of the Cooperative Research Centres grants.

As a dedicated affiliate partner in this significant $129 million collaboration involving 60 organisations nationwide, VIVA Mutual will actively contribute to shaping innovative care technology, data-driven solutions, and strategic workforce initiatives over the next decade.

The 10-year collaboration aligns perfectly with VIVA Mutual’s core mission of fostering partnerships with like-minded organisations to drive sustainable, meaningful change in healthcare delivery. “Through our involvement with the Care Economy CRC, we will enhance workforce capabilities, introduce advanced data integration solutions, and create new technology-driven models of care,” Arthur added.

The Care Economy CRC, headquartered at La Trobe University’s Research and Innovation Precinct, aims to significantly improve Australia’s care sectors by developing innovative technology, apps, connected information systems, and decision-support tools. This transformative approach will empower a more skilled workforce and foster better integration across the broader healthcare community.
